The Aru valley is noted for its scenic meadows. It is popular among the tourists for its natural environment and scenery. The village is a base camp for trekkers to the Kolahoi Glacier, the Tarsar-Marsar lakes and the Katrinag valley.
Betaab Valley - The valley also serves as a base camp for trekkers and is a good place to start a further exploration of the mountains. Betaab Valley gained prominence after the Sunny Deol and Amrita Singh starrer film, Betaab, was shot here in 1983. Thus, the valley was named after the hit film.
Chandanwari - The place is known for its serene atmosphere and is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Chandanwari valley is also the Gateway of the Holy Amarnath Yatra. As you drive to chandanwari you’ll be greeted by stunning views of snow-capped peaks and the Lidder River flowing through the valley.
Today after breakfast proceed for visit to Baisaran - Baisaran Valley is famous as 'Mini Switzerland' because of its long, dark meadows looking similar those found in Switzerland. The thick pine timberland that lends the green-carpet look to the glade gives a differentiating hue to snow-topped crests of the encircling mountains.
