It is a common sight to witness tourists standing on the bank of the scenic lake, shouting out and grinning in glee to hear their own voices bounce back!. Mattupetty dam is a concrete gravity dam and now a haven for many wild animals and birds thanks to the constant supply of water. Boating on the still waters of the lake is an ideal way to enjoy the surrounding tea gardens and wilderness. Eravikulam National Park - A former hunting preserve of the British planters, the Park today exemplifies wildlife at its best. It was declared a Sanctuary in 1975 with the intention of protecting the indigenous population of Nilgiri Tahr (highly endangered mountain goat). Overnight stay at Munnar.
Morning after breakfast drive to Alleppey / Kumarakom - It is known as a Venice of East. Alleppey offers you a splendid view of paddy fields and tiny hamlets in the lap of nature.
