Sangla - Chitkul - Tabo (210km/ 6-7hrs)

After breakfast this morning, check-out from the hotel and visit Chitkul. Chitkul is the last inhabited village situated near Indo-Tibet border at a distance of 20 km from Sangla. This village lies on the right bank of River Baspa. The most popular attraction of this village is the temple of local goddess ‘Chitkul Maathi’ also known as ‘Mata Devi’. People of the entire Kinnaur District come to worship at this temple. Chitkul also experiences heavy snowfall during winters, due to which it also becomes completely un-inhabited. Tabo – Kaza (50Kms / 2Hrs)

After Breakfast, check out from the hotel and visit to Key Monastery, Kibber Village, Dhankar Monastery and Tabo Monastery. This beautiful monastery is locked between the rocky spurs at the top of a cliff in the Dhankar village at an elevation of over 3,800 meters in the Spiti valley. It is a 16th century old fort monastery, which has also served as a prison in the erstwhile era. The Dhankar Gomba is over 1000 years old and is connected to the rest of the valley through a Motorable road, which is good for small vehicles only. There is a new monastery in the small village of Shichilling below the old monastery. The old monastery is associated with the Great Translator, Rinchen Zanggpo, and its complex comprises a number of multi-storey buildings perched together.

Kaza

After breakfast check out and visit to Langza is popularly known for hunting marine fossils and breathtaking views of Chau Chau Kang Nelda peak sitting on top of the village. Apart from the breathtaking landscape, the presence of a big, 1000-year odd old Lord Buddha statue in the meadow makes Langza as heavenly as one possibly can imagine. Komik - Komic village, at an altitude of about 4600 Mtrs, is popularly known as the village housing the highest motorable monastery in the world, the Tangyud Monastery.
